About the position.
The Expedition Worker is responsible for moving, positioning, and preparing finished window and door frames for transport. You collect products from the production line, move them using an overhead crane, and carefully place them onto transport racks. You ensure everything is correctly and safely prepared for shipping and identify and resolve minor defects or issues where possible.
What will you be doing?
- Collecting window and door frames from the production line
- Moving products safely and accurately using an overhead crane
- Placing items onto transport racks according to specifications
- Inspecting products for visible defects or minor damage
- Identifying and resolving small issues or reporting them when necessary
- Preparing goods correctly for internal or external transport
- Working according to safety and quality standards
- Collaborating with production, expedition, and logistics teams
What we ask of you.
- Basic knowledge of lifting equipment and safe operation of an overhead or gantry crane
- Understanding of internal logistics processes in a production environment
- Knowledge of proper load handling and rigging (slings, hooks, etc.)
- Ability to use basic hand tools for minor repairs or adjustments
- Basic technical understanding of window/door frames (wood)
- Strong safety awareness (VCA certification or willingness to obtain it)
Bonus — nice to have:
- Experience in a production, logistics, or timber manufacturing environment is preferred
- Experience with internal transport or lifting operations is highly desirable
- Experience with physically demanding work (lifting, pushing, pulling, outdoor/indoor work)
- Affinity with construction, woodworking, or the window/door industry is more important than education
