What is
your monthly salary?
Indicative salary ranges per field of work for a 40-hour working week, including average allowances for shift work and experience. The exact salary is determined per vacancy and collective agreement.

How much will I earn per month?
Depending on the role and shift work, between €2,350 and €4,200 gross per month for a 40-hour week. Welders and mechatronics technicians are usually in the higher bracket, production workers in the lower. The pay range is stated on each job page. We pay weekly, on time, with transparent timesheets.
How much does housing cost?
The rent is deducted from your pay and ranges from €105 to €135 per week for a private room in SNF-certified accommodation. This includes gas, water, electricity, internet and council tax. No hidden costs or setup fees. Prefer to live independently? No problem — in that case, this deduction will not apply.
Do I need to speak Dutch?
For many production roles, basic English is sufficient to get started. However, Dutch is required for service engineers or work supervision roles. Our advisers speak Dutch, English, Spanish, Italian and Portuguese — there’s always someone who speaks your language. Want to learn Dutch? The FlexHero Academy offers language lessons during working hours.
How soon can I start?
If you’re already in the Netherlands: usually within 5 to 10 working days after the intake. If you’re coming from abroad: allow 2 to 3 weeks — we’ll arrange your BSN, housing, transport and contract before you arrive so you can start on day one.
Will I get a permanent contract?
Yes, straight away. Everyone signs a employment contract for an indefinite term with FlexHero with a fixed number of hours in accordance with the client company’s collective labour agreement — from day one. Is your assignment changing? We’ll arrange your next placement; your contract remains in place. Many client companies also take on craftsmen on a permanent basis — we actively facilitate this, with no transfer fee after 1,500 hours.
What if you don’t like the work?
Talk to your advisor first. We’ll look for a solution together — sometimes it’s a matter of making adjustments, sometimes of finding a different client company. With us, you’re not tied to a single company. We have over 80 client companies, so there’s usually a suitable alternative within reach.
What certificates can I obtain?
Through the FlexHero Academy: VCA, VOL-VCA, VCU, welding certificates (3G, 4G, MIG/MAG, TIG), forklift, reach truck & EPT certificates, F-gases for refrigeration engineers, and a working-level Dutch language course. 100% employer contribution, scheduled during working hours. 340+ certificates issued since 2023.
