1. What are cookies
Cookies are small text files that a website places on your computer, tablet or phone. They are used to ensure the site works properly, to remember preferences and to track, in an anonymised manner, how a site is used. In addition to cookies, there are similar technologies such as localStorage, sessionStorage and pixels — in this statement, we group these together under the term "cookies".
2. Which cookies we use
FlexHero uses cookies in three categories. We always place functional cookies; for analytical and marketing cookies, we ask for your consent first.

* Anonymised analytical cookies (without personal data, without transfer outside the EEA) are exempt from the consent requirement under the Telecommunications Act, provided that strict conditions are met.
3. Functional cookies
These cookies are necessary for the website to function. They are placed without consent.

4. Analytical cookies
We measure, in an anonymised manner, how visitors use the site so that we can improve it. We use a privacy-friendly configuration: IP address anonymised, no linking to other services provided by the provider, a data processing agreement and no transfer outside the EEA.

5. Third-party services
Our site uses Google Fonts to load typography (Poppins, Open Sans, Fraunces). Google Fonts does not place cookies itself, but Google does receive the visitor’s IP address when the font files are loaded. We are considering hosting these fonts ourselves in the future so that this dependency is also eliminated.
6. Marketing & tracking
At present, FlexHero does not place any marketing or tracking cookies. Should we place advertising pixels in the future (for example, via LinkedIn or Meta), this will only occur after explicit consent has been given via our cookie banner, and this page will be updated.
7. Managing preferences
You can manage your cookie preferences in two ways:
- On FlexHero.com — via the cookie banner or via the ‘Cookie preferences’ button at the bottom of every page (to be added as soon as we start using analytics or marketing cookies).
- In your browser — all modern browsers allow you to view, block or delete cookies. See, for example, Chrome, Safari or Firefox.
8. Retention period
Each cookie has its own lifespan, as shown in the tables above. Session cookies disappear as soon as you close your browser. Persistent cookies remain until their retention period expires or until you delete them.
