FlexHero Academy,
during working hours.
Safety & First Aid, transport & driver training, lifting & warehouse equipment, personal development. 19 training courses — during working hours, at FlexHero’s expense. Because professional knowledge only grows if you’re given time to learn.
A craftsman without opportunities for advancement will leave within a year. That’s why FlexHero invests in training — not because we have to, but because it works. FlexHero Academy offers training in four key areas: health and safety & first aid, transport & drivers, lifting & warehouse equipment, and personal development. All during working hours and at FlexHero’s expense.

How it works.
During the intake, you’ll discuss with your advisor which courses are relevant to your goals — immediately applicable (VCA, certificate update) or long-term (language, career progression). The courses take place during working hours; paid hours count towards your salary and pension. Materials and exam fees: on us.
Career progression path in your field.
For those who want it: a structured career progression path. Starting as a production worker, moving into logistics via forklift certification, or into specialist roles via a welding course. Each stage: a higher salary (€200–400/month per step).
Passed? The certificate remains yours.
All certificates you obtain are in your name, not FlexHero’s. Should you later start working for another employer, they remain valid. We keep them available digitally in the My FlexHero portal.
Frequently asked questions.
Do I have to pay back the course if I leave?
No, never. Our courses are an investment in you. No repayment obligation, no link to a minimum employment period.
Will I be paid during the course?
Yes, your normal hourly rate. Course hours count towards your pension and holiday allowance.
Which courses are compulsory?
Only VCA Basic for industrial shop floors — we arrange this as standard before your first day at work. The rest is up to you.
What if I’d rather study in my spare time?
That’s also possible — for example, for the Dutch language course, which is partly online. Discuss with your advisor which combination works best for you.
How many courses can I take per year?
There’s no strict limit. In practice, active craftsmen take 1–3 courses a year. The limit depends on available hours and what suits your assignment.
Do you want to build up your professional knowledge?
During the intake, we’ll discuss which courses suit your goals. You can register for them free of charge — you can decide afterwards.
