Security Systems Technician

About the position.

As a security systems technician, you install and maintain intruder detection, CCTV and access control systems at companies and institutions. You work at a variety of locations and contribute directly to the security of people and property. Technical expertise and a reliable work attitude go without saying.

What will you be doing?

• Installing intruder alarm systems, camera systems and access control systems
• Carrying out periodic maintenance and inspections in line with the applicable standards
• Resolving faults and carrying out repairs on site
• Programming and configuring security control panels and associated software
• Instructing users on how to operate the installed systems
• Keeping work orders and handover documentation up to date

What we ask of you.

• MBO level 3 or 4 in electrical engineering or security, or demonstrable equivalent work experience
• A security technician diploma (BORG certification) is a strong advantage or a requirement, depending on the client
• Driving licence (category B)
• A Certificate of Good Conduct (VOG) may be requested
• Independent and discreet work attitude
