About the position.
As a roofer, you install roof coverings on homes and commercial buildings in the Eindhoven region. Depending on the project, you work with bitumen, EPDM, zinc or tiles and make sure the roof is delivered watertight, windproof and frost-resistant. Working at height with an eye for safety is second nature to you.
What will you be doing?
- Applying bituminous roofing with a torch or hot-air gun
- Installing EPDM membrane, including bonding, welding and finishing details
- Fitting and soldering zinc work: gutters, valley gutters, downpipes and mastic work
- Laying roof tiles and ridge tiles on pitched roofs
- Checking for watertightness and carrying out repairs
- Securing the work zone in line with health and safety (ARBO) guidelines for working at height
What we ask of you.
- MBO level 2 Roofer or at least 3 years' work experience in the roofing industry
- Experience with at least two roofing systems (e.g. bitumen + EPDM)
- VCA Basic certificate (mandatory on projects above 2.5 m in height)
- No fear of heights; physically able to work on pitched and flat roofs
