About the position.

As a façade bricklayer, you take care of the visible exterior of buildings: from houses to commercial projects. You work at height using scaffolding or aerial work platforms and deliver brickwork that meets the highest architectural and structural standards. Clean joints and colour-matched brickwork are your trademark.

What will you be doing?

• Laying façades in facing brick and architectural brick types according to specifications
• Fitting wall ties, cavity battens and insulation in the cavity wall
• Constructing brick-on-edge courses, lintels and reveal details
• Working on scaffolding and aerial work platforms in line with the VCA safety protocol
• Agreeing brick colour and pointing with the site manager and client
• Inspecting and correcting façade elements for plumb, flatness and dimensions

What we ask of you.

• MBO level 3 Bricklayer or an equivalent vocational qualification with a façade specialisation
• Proven experience with facing brickwork and façade bricklaying techniques
• VCA Basic certificate (or willingness to obtain it)
• Suited to working at height and familiar with scaffolding standards
