About the position.

As a glazier, you fit glass in frames, shopfronts and façades on construction projects and renovations. You work accurately and safely and know the properties of different types of glass and sealants. The end result is what counts: straight, watertight and neatly finished.

What will you be doing?

• Fitting and bonding glass in timber, steel and aluminium frames
• Installing insulating glass, safety glass and laminated glass in line with drawings and NEN standards
• Applying and finishing sealant and rubber gaskets for a watertight seal
• Measuring on site and reporting dimensional deviations to the glass supplier
• Safely handling and transporting glass panes using suction lifters and a glass trolley
• Checking the quality delivered and handing over to the client

What we ask of you.

• MBO level 2 or 3 Glazier or proven work experience in the glass industry
• Knowledge of sealant types, rubber gaskets and fixing techniques
• Physically fit and able to work safely at height
• VCA certificate is an advantage
• Driving licence (category B)
