Installation Technician

About the position.

As an installation technician, you work on heating, plumbing or ventilation installations in residential and commercial construction. You can be deployed on both new-build projects and renovations and carry out work from shell construction through to handover. Expertise and a practical attitude make the difference.

What will you be doing?

• Installing pipework for water, gas, heating and ventilation
• Fitting and connecting radiators, sanitary ware and associated fittings
• Setting up and handing over installations, including carrying out pressure and leak tests
• Reading and working from technical drawings and specifications
• Working with other specialist installers and site managers on location
• Ensuring a neat finish and complying with project-specific quality requirements

What we ask of you.

• MBO level 3 or 4 in installation engineering (mechanical installations, gas/water/heating)
• Work experience in building services installation, preferably in both new-build and renovation
• A natural gas diploma (for connecting gas installations) is an advantage or a requirement, depending on the assignment
• VCA certificate
• Driving licence (category B)
