About the position.

As a refrigeration technician, you install and maintain refrigeration systems in industry, the food sector and commercial buildings. You work with refrigerants, compressors and control equipment and are responsible for correct and safe execution. Diagnosing issues and solving problems independently is part of your daily routine.

What will you be doing?

• Installing and commissioning refrigeration installations and air conditioning systems
• Carrying out periodic maintenance and checks in line with F-gas legislation
• Tracing and resolving faults in refrigeration circuits, compressors and heat exchangers
• Handling refrigerants in line with the statutory rules on recovery and record-keeping
• Reading technical diagrams and working to manufacturer specifications
• Reporting completed work and keeping the refrigerant logbook up to date

What we ask of you.

• MBO level 3 or 4 in Refrigeration Engineering or a recognised Refrigeration Technology course
• Valid F-gas certificate (category I is required for working independently on larger installations)
• Work experience as a refrigeration technician or climate control installation mechanic
• Driving licence (category B)
• VCA certificate is an advantage
