About the position.
As a window frame fitter, you install and replace timber, uPVC or aluminium frames in new-build and renovation projects. You work accurately and ensure clean-fitting joints and an airtight and watertight connection to the building shell. Every day you deliver results that are immediately visible.
What will you be doing?
- Measuring window openings and checking dimensions before frame installation
- Installing and levelling timber, uPVC and aluminium frames
- Applying expanding foam, sealing tape and sealant for tight connections
- Fitting glazing and glazing beads in line with safety regulations
- Adjusting doors, windows and tilt-and-turn mechanisms
- Finishing the interior and exterior reveals with a sealant joint or construction membrane
What we ask of you.
- MBO level 2 Carpenter or Window Frame Fitter, or at least 2 years' work experience
- Experience with multiple frame materials (timber, uPVC and/or aluminium)
- Driving licence (category B) required for travelling between project locations
- Accurate working and a feel for finish and detail
