About the position.
As a plant operator in construction, you operate earthmoving machines on construction projects in the Eindhoven region. You know what is required of your machine, work closely with the crew on the ground and make sure earthmoving runs smoothly and safely. The variety of machines and projects makes this work challenging.
What will you be doing?
- Operating earthmoving machines such as excavators, bulldozers, scrapers or compactors
- Carrying out excavations, earthmoving and compaction in accordance with working drawings and instructions
- Carrying out daily safety inspections and reporting defects
- Working with the shift leader, groundworkers and crane operators on site
- Assisting with the delivery and removal of construction equipment and materials on site
- Keeping time records and the machine logbook
What we ask of you.
- Valid operator certificate (CWO or equivalent recognised VCA/SCC accreditation) for the machine(s) concerned
- At least 2 years' hands-on experience as a plant operator in civil engineering or construction
- VCA Basis; driving licence (category B)
- Technical insight, a feel for safety distances and spatial awareness
