About the position.
As warehouse manager, you are responsible for the day-to-day running of the warehouse and the team that works in it. You monitor stock levels, manage the logistics flows and make sure orders leave the building without errors. Order, safety and efficiency are your constant benchmarks.
What will you be doing?
- Leading warehouse operatives and allocating daily work assignments
- Managing stock and carrying out periodic stocktakes
- Monitoring inbound and outbound flows and making adjustments when deviations occur
- Checking orders for accuracy and completeness before dispatch
- Monitoring safety regulations and order in the warehouse
- Reporting to the logistics manager on KPIs and areas for improvement
What we ask of you.
- MBO 4 working and thinking level, preferably in logistics or business administration
- At least 3 years' experience in a similar supervisory position in a warehouse environment
- Forklift licence (internal certificate or VCA forklift)
- Experience with a WMS (Warehouse Management System)
- Able to work under pressure and to set priorities quickly
