About the position.
As a warehouse operative, you keep the flow of goods moving in a technical or industrial warehouse. You process incoming and outgoing shipments, put goods away in the right locations and make sure the stock records are accurate. Working with handheld scanners and a WMS is part of your daily routine.
What will you be doing?
- Receiving, checking and booking in incoming goods
- Putting items away in fixed warehouse locations in line with WMS instructions
- Picking orders based on pick lists or scanning systems
- Packing and preparing outgoing shipments for carriers
- Carrying out cycle counts and assisting with periodic stocktakes
- Reporting damaged goods or discrepancies in quantities
What we ask of you.
- MBO level 2 Logistics or proven work experience in a warehouse environment
- A driving licence and/or forklift certificate is an advantage
- Experience with a WMS (Warehouse Management System) or willingness to learn one quickly
- Precise, physically resilient and a team player
- Available for day shifts or shift work
