About the position.
As an instrumentation and control technician, you make sure industrial processes are accurately monitored and controlled. You work with sensors, PLC systems and control equipment in production environments and technical installations. Precision and technical insight are essential in this work.
What will you be doing?
- Installing, calibrating and maintaining instrumentation and control equipment in industrial environments
- Programming and parameterising PLC systems and control loops
- Troubleshooting instrumentation and process control systems
- Drawing up technical documentation and measurement reports
- Working with process engineers and electrical engineers on the commissioning of new installations
- Checking compliance with calibration intervals and keeping certification status up to date
What we ask of you.
- MBO level 4 or HBO in electrical engineering, instrumentation engineering or process engineering
- Knowledge of PLC systems (preferably Siemens S7, Allen-Bradley or similar)
- Experience with fieldbus protocols such as PROFIBUS, HART or Modbus is an advantage
- Meticulous approach and the ability to analyse faults systematically
- VCA certificate or willingness to obtain it
