About the position.
As a production employee at VDL Fibertech, you work on the manufacturing of high-tech composite components such as exterior bus panels and patient table tops for medical equipment (X-ray/MRI). You assist in preparing moulds, processing composite materials, assembling and finishing parts, and performing basic quality checks. The role requires precision, teamwork, and working according to strict quality and safety standards in a modern production environment.
What will you be doing?
- Supporting the full production process from start to finish, including preparing materials and moulds, producing composite components, and finishing parts according to work instructions. Assisting in the manufacturing of high-quality products such as bus panels and medical components (e.g. patient table tops for X-ray/MRI equipment). Performing basic quality checks to ensure products meet required standards. Working together with colleagues in a team-oriented production environment and contributing to a smooth and efficient workflow in a modern factory.
What we ask of you.
- Affinity with technical work and willingness to learn hands-on production processes. Ability to work accurately according to work instructions and quality standards. Basic understanding of working with tools, materials, and production processes. Experience with composites is not required, as internal training is provided. Ability to perform visual checks and basic quality control on finished products. Comfortable working in a structured production environment.
Bonus — nice to have:
- No specific experience with composites is required. A background in production, manufacturing, assembly, or technical hands-on work is a plus. Internal training is provided, so motivated starters with technical affinity are welcome. Full-time availability is required. Good command of the Dutch language is necessary.
