About the position.

The Mechanical Press Operator is responsible for running and setting up mechanical presses within a production environment, ensuring that the manufacturing process runs efficiently, safely, and meets quality standards. The role combines hands-on machine operation with quality control and basic technical problem detection. Working closely with multiple departments, the operator plays a key role in maintaining consistent production output while ensuring a clean, organized, and safe workplace.

What will you be doing?

• The role involves operating and setting up mechanical presses to ensure smooth production. The candidate is responsible for changing molds during product changeovers, performing visual and dimensional quality checks, and registering production data. They also identify and report deviations or malfunctions and maintain a clean and safe workspace according to 5S principles, working closely with production, technical, tooling, and quality teams.

What we ask of you.

• The candidate has solid technical understanding and is comfortable operating and setting up mechanical presses. They are able to perform basic quality checks using measuring tools and have a strong focus on safety and precision. Familiarity with production processes and adherence to 5S workplace standards is important.

Bonus — nice to have:

• Candidates should have experience in a production or manufacturing environment, preferably with mechanical presses. Technical insight is essential, and experience with measurement tools is considered a plus. They must be willing to work in shift patterns.
