Drainage Operative
in Eindhoven region.

About the position.

As a drainage operative, you install sewer systems and repair existing underground infrastructure. You work in trenches, around pipes and inspection chambers, and you know exactly how a sewer should be bedded, connected and sealed. Working safely in and around trenches comes naturally to you.

What will you be doing?

• Digging and carrying out trench work for sewer pipes and inspection chambers
• Laying and connecting PVC, concrete and HDPE pipes to the correct size and position
• Setting and levelling inspection chambers and gullies in accordance with the drawing
• Placing and compacting sand beds and surround material around pipes
• Connecting house connections to the main sewer
• Carrying out leak tests and assisting with CCTV inspection of the pipeline

What we ask of you.

• Proven work experience in sewerage, civil engineering or infrastructure
• Knowledge of CROW 500 and working safely around cables and pipes (or willingness to obtain certification)
• VCA Basis; driving licence (category B)
• Familiar with material types and jointing techniques for pressure and gravity sewers
• Precise, safety-conscious and able to complete work independently
