About the position.
As logistics team leader, you directly lead a group of employees on the shop floor and make sure the logistics processes run smoothly. You are the first point of contact for your team and switch quickly between operational execution and coaching. You achieve results together.
What will you be doing?
- Guiding and coaching team members on the shop floor
- Planning and allocating work per shift
- Monitoring productivity, quality and compliance with procedures
- Resolving operational bottlenecks and escalating where necessary
- Conducting performance reviews and handling the onboarding of new employees
- Keeping attendance records and leave administration up to date
What we ask of you.
- MBO 3 or 4 working and thinking level
- At least 2 years' experience as a team leader or supervisor in a logistics environment
- Forklift and reach truck certificate is an advantage
- Hands-on attitude: you step in yourself when things get busy
- Good communication skills in Dutch
