About the position.
As a WTB fitter, you carry out mechanical installation work in commercial and industrial construction. Pipework, pumps, heat exchangers and valves and fittings are your domain. You work closely with electrical fitters, project managers and subcontractors on medium-sized to large projects.
What will you be doing?
- Installing steel, copper and plastic piping systems for heating, cooling and process water
- Fitting pumps, valves and fittings, expansion vessels and heat exchangers
- Carrying out welding and press-fitting work on pipes in line with NEN standards and working drawings
- Installing pipe supports, expansion joints and insulation
- Carrying out pressure tests and documenting test results
- Coordinating progress and technical bottlenecks with the site manager on location
What we ask of you.
- MBO level 3 Installation Fitter WTB or equivalent
- At least 2 years of work experience in the WTB installation market
- Skilled in reading isometric drawings and P&ID diagrams
- Valid VCA Basis certificate
- A team player who can also organise a day on a construction site independently
