About the position.
Our client is looking for an experienced 3D Metrology Technician. In this role you are responsible for accurately measuring components and running measurement programmes in a two-shift system.
What will you be doing?
- Carrying out 3D measurements on a range of components using precision equipment.
- Developing and optimising measurement programmes for specific measurement assignments.
- Analysing and interpreting measurement results and drawing up detailed measurement reports.
- Checking and safeguarding the quality of the components produced.
- Working with the quality and production teams to improve processes.
- Maintaining and calibrating measuring equipment in line with the regulations.
What we ask of you.
- Familiarity with measuring equipment and software such as CMM.
- Good command of English, both spoken and written.
- A VCA certificate or willingness to obtain one.
- Driving licence (category B) for commuting.
