5-Axis Miller (Wet Machining)

About the position.

As a 5-axis CNC Miller, you are responsible for independently producing high-quality plastic parts on 5-axis CNC milling machines for wet machining work. You will work on complex products where accuracy, process control and technical insight are important.

What will you be doing?

• Independently setting up and operating 5-axis CNC milling machines.
• Producing high-quality plastic parts according to technical specifications.
• Checking the dimensions, quality and finish of products.
• Carrying out in-process checks and making adjustments where necessary.
• Selecting and checking tools and machining parameters.
• Optimising existing CNC programs.
• Contributing ideas for more efficient working methods and process improvements.

What we ask of you.

• Able to independently set up, operate and monitor a 5-axis CNC milling machine.
• Technical insight into machining processes and product processing.
• Able to work from technical drawings and product documentation.
• Knowledge of clamping set-ups, tools and machining parameters.
• Accurate and quality-focused way of working with an eye for detail.
• Able to independently identify and resolve deviations.
• Basic knowledge of CNC programming and willingness to develop further in this area.
• Able to understand, check and optimise existing programs.
• Able to work in a structured and independent manner.
• Taking responsibility for the quality of your own work.
• Able to work well within a technical team.
• Open to feedback and capable of self-reflection.
• Driven, loyal and focused on a long-term working relationship.
• Proven experience as a CNC Miller in a professional machining environment.
• Experience in setting up and operating 5-axis CNC milling machines.
• Experience in producing precise and complex parts.
• Experience in reading and interpreting technical drawings.
• Experience in measuring and checking products with appropriate measuring instruments.
• Experience in adjusting and optimising CNC programs.
• Basic knowledge of CNC programming.
• Experience with the following systems is a strong advantage:

• Mazatrol control
