All-round Welder

About the position.

As an all-round welder, you master several welding techniques and switch effortlessly between materials and applications. You are deployed on a wide range of assignments — from thin-walled sheet metal to heavier structures — and work from drawings with a high degree of independence.

What will you be doing?

• Welding structures and parts in steel, stainless steel or aluminium
• Applying several welding techniques (MIG, MAG, TIG) depending on the assignment
• Reading and interpreting weld detail drawings and welding symbols
• Setting up the welding equipment with the correct parameters per material and thickness
• Checking weld quality visually and with measuring tools
• Finishing welds and coordinating with the production team

What we ask of you.

• MBO level 3 in Welding or a comparable vocational qualification
• Proven work experience with at least two welding techniques (MIG/MAG and TIG)
• Experience with various materials such as structural steel, stainless steel and/or aluminium
• Able to work independently from weld detail drawings
• A valid welding qualification (EN ISO 9606 or VCA) is a strong advantage
