About the position.
As a Long Belt Sander Operator, you will work with advanced sanding machines in metalworking. You will sand and polish metal parts, with precision and quality as top priorities.
What will you be doing?
- Operating long belt sanding machines to sand metal surfaces.
- Setting up and adjusting the machines according to product specifications.
- Carrying out quality checks on sanded products.
- Carrying out preventive maintenance and basic repairs on the machines.
- Recording production data and reporting deviations.
- Working with colleagues to optimise production processes.
What we ask of you.
- Experience operating sanding machines or similar equipment.
- Technical insight and accuracy in your work.
- Basic knowledge of Dutch or English.
- VCA certificate or willingness to obtain it.
- Able to read technical drawings.
