About the position.
As a metalworker, you turn raw materials into finished products or semi-finished goods. Depending on the job, you work with sheet material, sections or tubes and use machines such as press brakes, shears and grinders. You work in a technical production environment where quality and lead time count.
What will you be doing?
- Sawing, cutting and bending steel, aluminium and stainless steel
- Operating press brakes, plate shears and punching equipment
- Reading and interpreting working drawings and dimension specifications
- Carrying out quality checks on dimensions and surface finish
- Deburring and finishing sawn or punched parts
- Recording production quantities and rejects in the quality system
What we ask of you.
- MBO level 2 in Metalworking or proven equivalent work experience
- Experience with common metalworking machines (press brake, plate shear)
- Able to read simple technical drawings
- Quality-conscious and able to check your own work
- Willing to work shifts (two-shift system) where applicable
