QA Engineer

About the position.

As a QA Engineer, you are responsible for safeguarding quality throughout the entire production process. You develop and manage quality systems, carry out audits and ensure that products and processes meet the required standards. You work closely with production, engineering and customers to implement structural improvements.

What will you be doing?

• Drawing up and managing quality plans, procedures and work instructions in accordance with ISO 9001 or customer-specific requirements
• Carrying out internal audits and guiding external audits by customers or certification bodies
• Analysing non-conformances and rejections using structured methods such as 8D or Ishikawa
• Assessing suppliers on quality performance and drawing up improvement plans
• Tracking and reporting quality KPIs to production management and senior management
• Guiding APQP or PPAP processes when introducing new products or processes

What we ask of you.

• HBO level of working and thinking, preferably in Industrial Engineering and Management, Mechanical Engineering or similar
• At least 3 years' experience in a quality role within a technical production environment
• Proven knowledge of ISO 9001; knowledge of IATF 16949 or AS9100 is an advantage
• Experience with problem-solving methods such as 8D, FMEA or Six Sigma
• Independent working attitude with an eye for detail and the ability to lead improvement initiatives
