About the position.
As a quality engineer, you are the technical specialist in quality control and product quality. You analyse quality problems down to their root cause, develop control measures and improve the quality management system. You work with engineering, production and customers on sustainable quality solutions.
What will you be doing?
- Carrying out root cause analyses of non-conformities and quality deviations (8D, Ishikawa, 5 Whys)
- Drawing up and implementing FMEAs, control plans and work instructions for new and existing products
- Assessing and validating production and measurement processes (process validation, MSA, Cpk analyses)
- Guiding customer audits and supplier audits and preparing PPAP files or FAI reports
- Maintaining and improving the quality management system (ISO 9001 or sector-specific)
- Advising engineering and production on quality risks in product development and manufacturability
What we ask of you.
- HBO or university degree in mechanical engineering, industrial product design, quality engineering or similar
- At least 3 years' experience as a quality engineer in a technical manufacturing company
- Proven knowledge of quality tools: FMEA, 8D, SPC, MSA and PPAP; IATF 16949 or EN 1090 is an advantage
- Certification as an internal auditor (ISO 9001 or sector-specific) is an advantage
