About the position.
As an assembler, you build mechanical or electromechanical products using drawings and assembly instructions. You work in a structured way, help find solutions when bottlenecks arise and deliver complete, checked assemblies to the next link in the production process. Precision and reading working drawings are at the heart of this trade.
What will you be doing?
- Assembling mechanical components into complete modules or finished products
- Reading and following assembly instructions and technical drawings
- Using hand and pneumatic tools for fastening and adjustment
- Carrying out visual and dimensional checks in line with quality specifications
- Recording deviations and reporting back to the production manager
- Keeping track of your own progress in the production or ERP system
What we ask of you.
- MBO level 2 in Mechanics, Mechanical Engineering or Metalworking
- Experience reading technical 2D and/or 3D drawings
- Familiar with using hand and power tools
- Accurate, systematic and quality-conscious
- An affinity with manufacturing processes and technical products
