Salary & payslips explained
When do you get paid, what do all the items on your payslip mean, and what about holiday allowance?
When do you get paid?
FlexHero pays weekly every Thursday based on the hours your manager has approved by Tuesday at 12:00. If the hiring company has only approved the hours later, the payment will be delayed by one week. You will receive your payslip by email (and in the portal app).
Payslip — every item explained
Gross pay
Number of hours worked × gross hourly rate. The hourly rate follows the collective agreement pay scale for the client company’s industry (Metalworking, Logistics, Construction, etc.) — not the FlexHero pay scale. This is known as the “hirer's remuneration” and is mandatory under the client company’s collective agreement.
ORT & overtime
Do you work at unusual times? Then you’ll receive a supplement on top of your hourly rate. Indication (subject to the collective agreement, so varies by sector):
- Saturday: +50% (after 18:00 +100%)
- Sunday & public holidays: +100%
- Night shift (22:00–06:00): +30%
- Overtime (over 40 hours/week): +25–50%
Holiday allowance & accrual
You accrue 8.33% holiday allowance and holiday entitlement (10.87% in hours). Both are shown as a provision on your payslip. Holiday allowance is normally paid out in May, or earlier on request.
Payroll tax & social security contributions
Payroll tax, pension contributions (StiPP) and health insurance contributions are deducted from this. The balance at the bottom = net pay into your account.
Questions about your pay?
Is something incorrect? Email backoffice@FlexHero.com with your name, week number and what is incorrect. We will investigate within 1 working day and correct it in the next payment.
Reporting changes
New IBAN, change of address, change to income-related scheme? Please notify us via your regular recruiter or via the portal. Changes before Tuesday = they will apply to the next pay cycle.
