Rates & surcharges — how does our pricing work?
What rate do we charge, and what surcharges apply (overtime, weekends, shift work, ORT)?
How do we calculate our rate?
The hourly rate = collective agreement wage of the craftsman × factor. The factor covers: employer’s contributions (social security contributions, pension, holiday allowance), risk (sick leave, waiting days), administration, recruitment, supervision and margin.
Indicative factors (2026)
- Standard temporary staffing: 1.75 – 1.95
- Medium-term secondment (3–12 months): 1.70 – 1.85
- Long-term secondment (12+ months, volume): 1.65 – 1.75
- Payroll (you recruit, we handle the contract): 1.45 – 1.55
- Recruitment & selection (fixed fee): 15–25% of annual salary
- Freelancer placement: 8–15% of the rate
The exact rate depends on: job level, shift work percentage, volume, contract duration and risk profile. Request a bespoke quote via /request.
Surcharges (subject to collective agreement)
The allowance percentages follow the collective agreement of the hiring company’s sector. Rule of thumb for Metalworking and Logistics:
- Overtime (over 40 hours/week): +25% – +50%
- Saturdays: +50% (after 18:00 +100%)
- Sundays & public holidays: +100%
- Night work (22:00–06:00): +30%
- Shift work: +10% (2 shifts) to +20% (3 shifts)
Travel expenses
If the craftsman travels by their own transport and the work address is ≥ 11 km one way: €0.23/km charged on a 1-to-1 basis (no margin). This often does not apply if FlexHero housing is available nearby.
No hidden costs
What you agree in advance is what you pay. No unexpected surcharges for ‘urgent’, ‘weekend’ or ‘supervision’ unless discussed beforehand. If you’re unsure whether a rate is suitable, call your account manager and we’ll go through the calculation together.
Volume deals: for 5+ FTE long-term hiring, we are open to bespoke contracts with a fixed rate or all-inclusive fee. Schedule a meeting with your account manager.
