How do I leave FlexHero?
Notice period, final settlement, what is retained, can you return?
How do you leave?
You can leave FlexHero at any time. Call or email your recruiter, or send a message to backoffice@flexhero.com. We will confirm this in writing and send you a final statement.
Notice period
Everyone at FlexHero works under an employment contract with an indefinite term. Fixed notice periods apply in accordance with the client company’s collective labour agreement and the Civil Code:
- You as an employee: in principle 1 month, to the end of the calendar month.
- FlexHero as employer: 1 to 4 months, depending on your length of service (Civil Code Art. 7:672).
- Written notice: an email to your advisor or the back office is sufficient.
The final settlement
Upon leaving, you will receive a final statement containing:
- Remaining paid hours
- Accrued holiday allowance (8.33%)
- Unused holiday days (payment)
- ATV/PLB balance, if applicable
- Any deductions (housing until the end date, damages, etc.)
The final settlement will be included in the next regular pay packet — usually within two weeks of the last working day.
Housing on departure
Do you live at a FlexHero location? Then your tenancy agreement will automatically end. We will carry out a final inspection of your room; please hand in the keys on the agreed date.
Can you come back later?
Absolutely. Your profile remains in our system for 2 years (GDPR-compliant). If you wish to return, you won’t need to go through all the steps again — just give us a call or send an email and we’ll look at suitable vacancies together. Upon your return, you’ll sign a new employment contract of an indefinite term.
Good experience? A review on Google or LinkedIn helps other craftsmen make a choice. Negative experience? Let us know straight away — we’ll improve where we can.
Having your data deleted
