About the position.

As a QHSE Coordinator (Quality, Health & Safety and Environment), you ensure that the company demonstrably complies with legislation and regulations on quality, working conditions and the environment. You manage the integrated management systems, coordinate audits and are the first point of contact for internal and external questions in these three areas. You translate standards and legislation into practical working methods on the shop floor.

What will you be doing?

• Managing and keeping up to date the integrated management system based on ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and/or ISO 45001
• Planning and guiding internal audits and supporting external certification audits
• Preparing records, risk assessments and legal compliance registers
• Identifying changes in legislation and regulations and translating them into policy and procedures
• Recording and following up incidents, hazardous situations and environmental aspects
• Delivering internal training sessions and toolbox meetings for employees and supervisors

What we ask of you.

• HBO level of working and thinking, preferably in Environment, HSE, Industrial Engineering and Management or similar
• Knowledge of ISO 9001 and at least one of the standards ISO 14001 or ISO 45001; a combination is strongly preferred
• At least 2 years' experience as a QHSE coordinator in a technical or industrial environment
• Good communication skills to build support at all levels of the organisation
• Proactive attitude: you spot risks before they become problems
