About the position.
As a CAD draughtsman, you create 2D and 3D models and drawings for technical projects in the manufacturing industry or building services. You work with modern CAD software and contribute to a seamless handover from engineering to production or assembly. With you, precision and speed go hand in hand.
What will you be doing?
- Modelling and drawing parts and assemblies in CAD software (2D and 3D)
- Converting sketches, customer specifications or older drawings into up-to-date CAD files
- Carrying out drawing reviews and checking against standards and specifications
- Managing drawing files and keeping version and revision records
- Liaising with engineers and project leaders on changes and priorities
- Drawing up bills of materials from the 3D model
What we ask of you.
- MBO 4 working and thinking level, in structural engineering, building services engineering or mechanical engineering
- Demonstrable proficiency in AutoCAD and at least one 3D package (Inventor, SolidWorks, Revit or similar)
- At least 1 year's work experience as a CAD draughtsman
- Careful and structured in file management and version control
- Willingness to learn and expand your software knowledge
