About the position.
Operating and setting up 3-axis CNC milling machines to produce high-precision components for the high-tech industry. Worked with materials such as granite and metals, ensuring tight tolerances and consistent quality. Responsible for reading technical drawings, performing measurements and quality checks, and optimizing machining processes. Contributed to efficient production and maintained a clean, safe working environment.
What will you be doing?
- You will set up, operate, and adjust CNC machines and occasionally perform conventional machining tasks. You are responsible for checking dimensions and quality of products, identifying and reporting deviations. You handle material movement using lifting equipment and perform minor maintenance on machines and tools. You also manage production and time registration according to procedures, maintain a clean and safe workplace, and actively contribute ideas for improving production processes while communicating with your supervisor about progress.
What we ask of you.
- Experience in operating and setting up CNC machining machines, with strong knowledge of CNC controls such as Heidenhain, Siemens, or Fanuc being a big advantage. Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and work with high-precision tolerances. Skilled in measuring and quality control of machined parts, including identifying deviations. Familiarity with machining processes for materials such as granite and steel is preferred. Basic knowledge of conventional machining and routine machine maintenance is also useful.
Bonus — nice to have:
- Previous experience as a CNC operator or in a machining environment is preferred, especially in setting up and operating CNC milling machines. Experience in high-precision or high-tech manufacturing environments is a strong advantage.
