CNC Programmer
in Eindhoven region.

About the position.

As a CNC programmer, you translate design drawings and 3D models into machining strategies and NC code for lathes and milling machines. You work closely with engineering and production and are responsible for manufacturability, tool selection and cycle time optimisation. Your programs form the basis for everything the shop floor produces.

What will you be doing?

• Programming CNC turning and milling operations using CAM software
• Analysing 3D models and drawings for manufacturability and tolerances
• Selecting the machining sequence, clamping and tools
• Simulating and verifying NC code for collisions and process reliability
• Handing over new programs to the machinists on the shop floor and supporting them
• Documenting tool lists, clamping plans and machining sheets

What we ask of you.

• MBO level 4 or HBO in Mechanical Engineering, Machining or Mechatronics
• At least 3 years of experience in CNC programming using CAM (Mastercam, SolidCAM, Hypermill or equivalent)
• In-depth knowledge of machining technology (cutting parameters, tool wear, material behaviour)
• Experience with Fanuc, Heidenhain or Siemens controls; knowledge of post-processors is an advantage
• Able to read complex dimensional drawings with GD&T and surface tolerances
