About the position.

As a Grinder, you bring metal parts to the required dimensions and surface quality, by hand or on conventional grinding machines. You work in a focused way and take responsibility for the final inspection of every part you machine. It is precision work where not a single millimetre can be lost.

What will you be doing?

• Operating surface or cylindrical copy grinding machines for batch work and one-off parts
• Grinding and polishing surfaces by hand to the required roughness class
• Setting up the machine for material and tolerance: wheel selection, feed, cooling
• Checking dimensions and surface quality with measuring tools
• Deburring and finishing ground edges for safe, dimensionally accurate delivery
• Keeping track of work orders and recording deviations

What we ask of you.

• MBO 2 qualification in machining or metalworking, or proven experience as a grinder
• Work experience with surface or cylindrical grinding machines in a production environment
• Basic knowledge of grinding wheel selection and material behaviour across different steel grades
• Skilled with hand measuring tools for dimensional checks
• Disciplined and able to work independently on repetitive work with quality monitoring
