About the position.

As a CNC Grinder, you achieve the final dimensions and surface quality of precision parts on CNC grinding machines. You work as an extension of the machining department and ensure that components meet the highest dimensional accuracy. Knowledge of abrasives, coolants and material behaviour is indispensable.

What will you be doing?

• Setting up and operating CNC surface and cylindrical grinding machines
• Selecting grinding wheels based on material, hardness and the required surface
• Setting parameters: speed, feed, depth of cut and coolant supply
• Checking dimensions and surface quality after machining
• Profiling and dressing grinding wheels for contour or profile grinding
• Documenting machining data and measured results per work order

What we ask of you.

• MBO 3 qualification in machining or toolmaking with proven grinding experience
• Practical experience with CNC grinding (surface, cylindrical or centreless grinding)
• Knowledge of grinding wheel specifications and interpreting surface roughness values (Ra/Rz)
• Skilled with precision measuring tools, with optional CMM experience
• An eye for detail and willing to work to tight tolerances without rushing
