About the position.
Set up, operate, and program CNC turning machines (Hwacheon). Produce high-precision mechanical components in small and medium-sized series. Work with materials such as stainless steel, aluminum, and steel alloys. Perform quality inspections and maintain production documentation. Contribute to process optimization and continuous improvement initiatives
What will you be doing?
- Set up and program Hwacheon CNC turning machines
- Determine machining sequences and production methods
- Manufacture precision parts ranging from 5 mm to 300 mm
- Perform dimensional and quality inspections using measuring equipment
- Maintain digital documentation, tooling data, and machining programs
- Troubleshoot minor machine issues and perform preventive maintenance
- Stay up to date with new machining techniques and tooling developments
- Support improvements in production efficiency and product quality
What we ask of you.
- Experience with CNC turning and machining processes
- Knowledge of Fanuc and/or Siemens controls
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
- Understanding of geometric dimensions and tolerances (GD&T)
- Experience using precision measuring instruments
Bonus — nice to have:
- Technical education in machining or metalworking, or relevant CNC turning experience
- Experience with CNC programming is preferred
- Strong attention to detail and quality standards
- Motivated candidates with a machining diploma but limited experience are encouraged to apply
- Good communication and teamwork skills
