Extrusion Operator
in Eindhoven region.

About the position.

As an extrusion operator, you operate extrusion lines that process plastic, rubber or aluminium into profiles, tubes or film. You set the line to the correct parameters, monitor the extrusion process and keep a close eye on the dimensions of the end product. Process knowledge and insight into material behaviour are essential in this role.

What will you be doing?

• Setting up and starting extrusion machines based on product specifications
• Monitoring process parameters such as temperature profile, pressure and line speed
• Checking the dimensions and surface quality of the extruded product
• Changing over the line for product changes, including die changes and purging
• Resolving production problems such as line breaks, dimensional deviations or irregular cross-sections
• Recording production data and quality checks in the production system

What we ask of you.

• MBO level 2 or 3 in Plastics Processing, Process Technology or similar
• Hands-on experience on extrusion or injection moulding lines is strongly preferred
• Insight into the behaviour of plastics, rubber or non-ferrous metals during processing
• Willingness to work shifts; physically able to work standing for long periods
