Foundry Operator
in Eindhoven region.

About the position.

As a foundry operator, you work in a production facility where metal or aluminium is melted, cast and finished. You operate casting machines, monitor process parameters and make sure products come off the casting line defect-free and to size. The work requires physical resilience and technical insight.

What will you be doing?

• Operating casting machines (die casting, gravity die casting or sand casting)
• Monitoring melting and casting temperatures and adjusting process parameters
• Checking the dimensions and appearance of castings after casting
• Carrying out deburring and fettling work on castings
• Keeping the work area clean and carrying out preventive machine maintenance
• Recording production quantities and quality findings

What we ask of you.

• MBO level 2 Operator or Metalworking, or proven work experience in a foundry
• Basic knowledge of metal alloys (aluminium, zinc, cast iron) is an advantage
• Willingness to work rotating shifts including nights
• Physically resilient and able to work in a hot production environment
• VCA Basis certificate
