Commissioning Engineer
in Eindhoven region.

About the position.

As a commissioning engineer, you travel to customer sites to make newly produced machines or installations operational. You carry out mechanical and electrical checks, set parameters and make sure the machine meets the specifications before the customer puts the system into use. Fault analysis and customer contact are part of the job.

What will you be doing?

• Carrying out final mechanical and electrical checks on manufactured machines
• Setting control parameters, sensors and safety devices in line with technical documentation
• Supervising the first production run and making adjustments where necessary
• Solving technical problems that arise during the start-up phase
• Instructing the customer's operating staff in operation and maintenance
• Reporting findings and deviations to the person responsible for the project

What we ask of you.

• MBO level 4 or HBO in Mechatronics, Electrical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering
• At least 2 years' experience in a comparable commissioning or service role
• Knowledge of PLC-controlled systems (Siemens S7, TIA Portal or similar) is an advantage
• Driving licence (category B) and willingness to travel regularly, including internationally
• Independent with strong communication skills: at the customer's site, you are on your own
