Overhaul Mechanic
in Eindhoven region.

About the position.

As an overhaul mechanic, you fully dismantle machines, assess the condition of each component and rebuild the system — often better than the original. You have an eye for hidden wear and know what will go wrong again in ten years' time if you don't tackle it now. Overhaul work demands craftsmanship and patience.

What will you be doing?

• Fully dismantling machines, installations or generating sets and cleaning components
• Inspecting and measuring parts to assess whether they can be reused or need replacing
• Rebuilding assemblies with new wear parts, seals and bearings
• Keeping overhaul reports with findings per component
• Liaising with the work planner on required replacement parts and delivery times
• Carrying out functional tests after rebuilding and assessing the end result

What we ask of you.

• MBO level 3 or 4 in Mechanical Engineering or Precision Engineering
• At least 3 years of experience in overhauling or maintaining mechanical systems
• In-depth knowledge of bearings, seals, couplings and transmission elements
• Accurate documentation and a structured way of working come naturally to you
• Experience with hydraulic or pneumatic systems is an advantage
