About the position.
As an industrial spray painter, you are responsible for applying coatings and paint layers to metal and plastic parts. You work with professional spraying equipment in a controlled spray booth and make sure every product meets the specified quality and thickness requirements. Precise work and knowledge of materials are daily requirements.
What will you be doing?
- Preparing workpieces by sanding, degreasing and masking
- Setting up and operating air spray guns and airless spraying equipment
- Applying primer, intermediate coats and topcoats according to the technical data sheet
- Checking coating thickness and surface quality with measuring equipment
- Carrying out minor coating repairs on rejected items
- Keeping the spray log and production documentation up to date
What we ask of you.
- MBO level 2 or 3 qualification in Vehicle Body Repair, Painting or similar
- Proven work experience in industrial spray painting or wet painting
- Knowledge of coating systems (epoxy, PUR, acrylic) and mix ratios
- An eye for quality and willingness to work shifts
- VCA certificate is an advantage
