About the position.
As a machine operator, you set up production machines, monitor the process and step in whenever quality or progress requires it. You work in a structured production environment at technical manufacturing companies in the Eindhoven region. It is all about accuracy, repetition and monitoring dimensions.
What will you be doing?
- Setting up and starting CNC or conventional production machines according to work instructions
- Monitoring the production process for dimensions, quality and cycle time
- Carrying out in-process quality checks with measuring tools such as callipers and micrometers
- Identifying and resolving minor faults or deviations on the machine
- Recording production quantities and rejects in the production system
- Changing over the machine for a product change according to the set-up sheet
What we ask of you.
- MBO level 2 or 3 in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics or similar
- Proven work experience as a machine operator in an industrial environment
- Skilled with measuring tools and able to read blueprints or drawings
- Quality-conscious and accurate, including in repetitive work
