About the position.

As a machine builder, you build machines and installations from the ground up, from frame to finished system. You handle both mechanical and lighter electrical connections and work closely with design engineers and electrical engineers. The result of your work stands on the customer's shop floor.

What will you be doing?

• Building machine frames and supporting structures based on technical documentation
• Fitting drives, bearings, guides and hydraulic or pneumatic systems
• Connecting cabling and components according to wiring diagrams
• Carrying out functional tests and commissioning the machine for acceptance
• Working with engineers to resolve manufacturability and assembly problems
• Contributing to process improvements based on your own experience on the assembly floor

What we ask of you.

• MBO level 3 or 4 in Mechanical Engineering or Machine Building
• At least 2 years of experience in machine building or a comparable production-oriented environment
• Able to read mechanical drawings and diagrams (hydraulic, pneumatic)
• Basic knowledge of electrical connections is an advantage
• Independent and solution-oriented, with an eye for detail
