About the position.
As a Mould Maker, you build injection moulds or stamping dies from scratch, or carry out overhauls and modifications on existing tools. You switch between engineering, machining and assembly and take personal responsibility for the final quality of the tool. The work calls for in-depth material knowledge and a sharp eye for fit.
What will you be doing?
- Manufacturing mould parts through CNC milling, spark erosion and grinding
- Assembling and adjusting mould components into a functional tool
- Testing moulds on the press or injection moulding machine and implementing corrections
- Carrying out overhauls, repairs and modifications to existing moulds
- Reading and interpreting complex mould and design drawings
- Documenting completed work and deviations in the maintenance system
What we ask of you.
- MBO 4 or higher qualification in toolmaking, mould making or similar
- Several years of experience in mould making or overhauling injection moulds or stamping dies
- Knowledge of spark erosion (EDM), grinding techniques and hardening treatments
- Skilled in reading complex 3D drawings and tolerance schemes
- Able to analyse problems independently and optimise moulds for production
