Mechanical Fitter
in Eindhoven region.

About the position.

As a mechanical fitter, you are responsible for the mechanical build of equipment, machines or installations. You work carefully and systematically, because margins of error in your work directly determine the performance of the end product. You plan your own work based on drawings and work orders.

What will you be doing?

• Assembling mechanical sub-assemblies and integrating them into a larger system
• Fitting bearings, shafts, seals, couplings and transmission elements
• Adjusting moving parts to the correct clearance and friction
• Carrying out visual and functional quality checks after assembly
• Reading and interpreting parts lists, dimensional drawings and assembly instructions
• Reporting technical findings to the engineer or work planner

What we ask of you.

• MBO level 2 to 4 in Mechanical Engineering, Precision Engineering or similar
• At least 1 year of proven experience as a mechanical fitter
• Skilled with precision measuring tools (callipers, micrometer, fit gauge)
• Accurate, methodical and able to read drawings independently
• Experience with pneumatic or hydraulic systems is an advantage
