Working Foreman

About the position.

As Working Foreman, you roll up your sleeves yourself while leading your colleagues at the same time. You are both a skilled tradesperson and a supervisor, which gives you the authority to give realistic instructions that you can carry out yourself. At busy times, you step in wherever you are needed most.

What will you be doing?

• Carrying out skilled work alongside and together with the other team members
• Allocating tasks and instructing colleagues at the workplace
• Monitoring the quality of your own work and that of the crew
• Identifying technical problems and resolving them independently or in consultation
• Overseeing safety and the correct use of tools and machines
• Liaising with the project leader or workshop manager on progress and deviations

What we ask of you.

• MBO 3 or 4 vocational diploma in a relevant technical field
• At least 4 years' trade experience, with initial experience in leading colleagues
• Craftsmanship that earns your colleagues' respect and on which you can base your instructions
• Practical, able to keep the overview and to switch between hands-on work and supervision
• Basic VCA certification required
