About the position.

As a project manager, you bear ultimate responsibility for the integrated delivery of technical projects: from the quotation phase through to handover. You monitor scope, schedule, budget and quality and are the central point of contact for clients, subcontractors and internal teams. Depending on the sector, your working environment ranges from construction and building services to industrial manufacturing companies.

What will you be doing?

• Planning, managing and monitoring projects in terms of scope, time, money and quality
• Maintaining contact with the client and managing expectations and changes
• Coordinating subcontractors, suppliers and internal disciplines
• Drawing up and monitoring the project budget and reporting on progress and deviations
• Identifying, managing and recording risks in the risk register
• Handling project documentation, handover files and aftercare

What we ask of you.

• HBO or university degree in industrial engineering and management, structural engineering, mechanical engineering or building services engineering
• At least 5 years' experience as a project manager in a technical sector
• Knowledge of project management methodologies (PRINCE2, PMI or similar) is an advantage
• Strong negotiation skills and commercial awareness
