About the position.
As a maintenance technician, you keep machines and production lines running. You carry out planned maintenance, but also tackle urgent problems when the line threatens to stop. You work at a production company where downtime costs money straight away, so you act quickly and purposefully.
What will you be doing?
- Carrying out preventive and corrective maintenance on machines and installations
- Replacing wear parts such as bearings, belts, seals and filter elements
- Keeping maintenance logs and CMMS records up to date
- Supporting production operatives with mechanical faults during the shift
- Carrying out inspections of the safety and technical condition of equipment
- Requesting and managing maintenance supplies and spare parts
What we ask of you.
- MBO level 3 in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics or Installation Engineering
- At least 2 years' experience of maintenance in a production environment
- Knowledge of pneumatics, hydraulics or electrical engineering (preferably a combination)
- VCA certificate is desirable
- Proactive attitude: you don't wait for problems, you prevent them
